_________Intensity____Quality
Aroma_____ ⚃__________⚄
The coffee beans have a chocolatey aroma, with tangy hints of pineapple and unripe green mangoes. Brewed coffee has a richness of honeyed tea accompanied by a fruity sweetness.
Acidity ____ ⚃__________⚅
Instead of clear and bright, the conversely rounded and muddled notes of acidity seems to be formed from an assortment of fruits, with pineapples and strawberry coming to the fore.
This characteristic allows it to blend well with the profile of the sweetness that it leads into.
Sweetness ⚅__________⚄
The sweetness is built on a body of mangoes, with lemon tea that closely follows on the palate and nose. It is very distinct due to the unique astringency associated with lemon tea.
Body _____ ⚅__________⚅
The body is almost thick in texture ,and the coffee had a voluminous and juicy mouthfeel.
It complements the lush fruit profile of the coffee for a complete well rounded experience.
Finish_____ ⚅__________⚄
The note of lemon tea continues from the sweetness of the body. It leaves a faint creamy feeling on the palate, which might be perceived to be similar in nature to milk chocolate.
Finish is well lasting, and its texture continues to be retained in the mouth long after.
Notes
The muted and intricate acidity gives the drink a very smooth profile as a whole, and it allowed the sweetness of the drink to emerge fluidly from this broad front. It was interesting that a very subtle astringency of the lemon tea note only develops towards later in the taste profile, building up towards the finish.
As a whole, this is a complex and flavorful cup of coffee. These multitude of flavors do amalgamate in profile as compared to more straightforward batches of coffee beans, resulting in less individually distinct tasting notes. However, the assortment of acidic and sub-acidic fruits are quite complementary in taste, and the many elements come together quite nicely in complementary interconnections that make for an evenly vibrant experience.
