_________Intensity____Quality
Aroma_____ ⚄__________⚄
There is a forward note of limes on the nose, with florals of jasmines hidden behind it.
As the cup develops over time, the jasmine scent grows in depth and prominence.
Acidity ____ ⚄__________⚄
There is a good amount of acidity to the drink which comes hand-in-hand with the notes of lime on the nose. It carries aspects of lime juice in how it contains both sweet and sour.
Sweetness ⚄__________⚅
The drink is very refreshing, and its sweetness lies as much in the aftertaste as the body of the drink itself. Past the initial acidity, the hints of rounded, flowery and forwardly sweet flavors very much resembles the notes of white peaches.
Body _____ ⚄__________⚅
Body is weighty and carries some volume in the mouth. However, the drink is still evocative of light-bodied freshness, in part due to the profile of acidity.
Finish_____ ⚃__________⚄
Sweetness endures through the drink and brings it through to the finish. As the sweetness dissipates, it leaves behind hints of floral jasmine and juicy peeks of white peaches.
Notes
A clean, enjoyable acidity of limes is the first thing that comes to the palate.
Interestingly, this acidity is rather long-lasting, and takes up a large bulk of the notes in the coffee. As a result of this, however, sweetness is largely discernible only later in the drink.
While initially veiled, the notes of jasmine begin to become more prominent as the drink cools down. From there, the floral notes become a mainstay from the start to the finish, giving the sweetness that characteristic white peach notes that one might obtain.
Limes and jasmines form the twin distinguishing characteristics in this cup of coffee, and allow it to be both refreshing and nuanced at the same time. At times, the overtly clean nature of the coffee may seem restrictive on the tasting notes, but at the same time, this helps to tie the two contrasting flavors together for one unified coffee profile.
