_________Intensity____Quality
Aroma_____ ⚄__________⚄
A distinct aroma of bergamot forms at the back of the palate, rising towards the nose.
It is a very refined, but straightforward and clean nose.
Acidity ____ ⚂__________⚃
Well blended into the drink by the upfront aroma, the acidity is conventional and smooth.
It seems to carry a very slight tartness, which builds into the cherry tasting profile.
Sweetness ⚄__________⚄
The drink has a sweetness of agrestal cherries.
It is not wholly sweet, but rather juicy and flavorful, with hints of wild naturalness.
Body _____ ⚃__________⚅
Body is medium in weight, and this aspect grows in prominence as the drink cools. Alongside the cherry tasting notes, the body comes off well with the right amount of syrupy.
Finish_____ ⚅__________⚃
Ordinary floral notes emerge at the very end of the drink, leaving a dry, flowery finish.
The taste is delicate and clean, albeit a little lacking in distinctiveness.
Notes
I enjoyed this drink for how it presented a more unconventional flavor profile, with more characteristic aromatic profiles and a less dominant fruit sweetness. At the same time, I was able to identify the unique cherry sweetness that supported the entire drink profile.
This drink is highly agreeable on all fronts, and the tasting notes accorded well from each one to the next. Floral notes run as a common chord through the entire drink.
It is not overly complicated, and this allows each tasting note to stand on its own in the cup.
