_________Intensity____Quality

Aroma_____ __________

Complex fruity notes were present in the cup of brewed coffee.

However, it was very subtle and required careful inspection to identify.

Acidity ____ __________

Upfront note of citrus acidity formed the base on which to build the coffee's tasting notes.

It was not overly intense to the point of being overwhelming and was crisp and enjoyable.

Sweetness __________

Initial mouth intake presents slight notes of pink guava juice alongside the more pronounced acidity. Opening acidity breaks into agreeable and lush kiwi notes flushed with ripeness.

Body _____ __________

Full bodied mouthfeel complements the ripe and lush tasting notes of the coffee.

Finish_____ __________

The drink stays on your palate long enough to make you reach for a second mouth.

Faint aftertaste of citrus from the kiwi remains. As the drink cools, mellows into a rounded molasses finish that sits perfectly on the palate without feeling in dearth or in excess.

Notes

I was pleasantly surprised by the intense dry fragrance of the coffee beans, which were reminiscent of our local durian / fruit stalls, with faint lingering scent of durian intermingled with the rounded smell of ripe fruits. However, it was a pity that I did not manage to translate it into an equally distinguishable cup aroma experience.

Generally presents a pronounced crisp and fresh entry, that gives way into a full body presenting related tangy notes of kiwi. A well-rounded finish develops with time, and completes the cup of coffee nicely.
