Notes
The amount of flavour and complexity that is contained within the coffee beans is rather surprising. No doubt, as a Kenyan coffee, it has dense coffee bean that contain within it plenty of sweetness. However, aside from the commonalities with the more commonly found washed Kenyan coffees, this coffee from Jungle Estate has a sweetness that takes the form of ripe, tropical fruits that is easygoing on the palate, giving it a rounded profile that is in comparison, much more agreeable to the everyday drinker.
Brewing this coffee warrants grinding a little finer in order to be able to extract out the range of flavours in the densely packed, intensely sweet coffee. Natural process Kenyan coffees are a rare find, and this one is a treat for sure.
